I Shit My Pantygirdle

The "State Killer" La Cantina

E 'widespread certainty that in small towns there are small problems .. enough about Ceppagna and this certainty disappears. There are many things that do not go but the locals seem to ignore completely at all, no one is working to change something. Fortunately, a few remained champion. These few lines should be the sign of a desire for change. Hill town, is cut in two by Ceppagna SS6 linking Lazio and Campania, Molise. The daily traffic volume is really big, truck, cars and so on. The crossing of the town by the highway, is by means of a long straight with a bump at the two ends respectively and a 90 ° bend. We are talking about a road that runs between the houses literally. The safety of citizens is protected by a speed limit of 60 mph. All good so far except that this limit is met only by pedestrians. It's really rare to see cars and trucks that pass within the 60 mph speed ... is the host in the true sense of the word. To say nothing of overtaking here to assist you, just put in the shoes of a pedestrian who is intent on crossing the street to realize the danger of the thing. Yeah, but how does one cross the road? Difficult task ... thank goodness that there are crosswalks ... And here is the scandal. The crosswalks are about 5 km in the center of the city of Venafro. Certainly a bit 'uncomfortable for those who just want to cross the country but, as they say, safety is priceless. The problem is real as the victims of the road here in Ceppagna have been many so far and we do not want to believe that many deaths are not served at all. He also spoke of a flyover, expensive in the opinion of the vertices, which certainly would have guaranteed safety. But it is clear that we are entering more and more seen in the utopia that is not granted even a pedestrian crossing (White paint = 15 €). But there is the limit and nobody can say otherwise. Surely, however, has not been met. Would suffice to enforce it, even with a fixed speed camera, because the few times that a patrol patrolling the area, noting the speed of the cars with the "machine", the situation improved. Sure enough, however, finished the presidium of the road or on its behalf, the illusion vanishes into thin air, and the situation becomes as always here in Ceppagna. But in an Italy increasingly attentive to the deaths and safety on the road, one wonders how it could be possible to find yourself in a situation like that. How many accidents and deaths are not served at all remains a mystery senseless.
